About Me
Hi, I’m Clare,
a BACP-registered counsellor, here to support you as you explore what’s next.
I work with many thoughtful, capable women who are quietly wondering if there’s more to life than just keeping it all together. Many of my clients are in their 30s, part of the LGBTQ+ community* (like me), and navigating big questions around identity, purpose, relationships, and work.
Maybe you're doing all the things you thought you should — career, goals, being the dependable one — but something’s not landing. You might feel a little disconnected from yourself, or unsure where to go from here.
My role isn’t to give you advice or tell you what to do. It’s to offer a grounded, compassionate space where we can untangle the knots together. Where you can feel seen, heard, and accepted — without having to explain or shrink parts of yourself to fit in.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from different approaches depending on what you need — but self-compassion is always at the heart of how I work. That means holding space for both the messy and the meaningful, and helping you relate to yourself with more kindness and less pressure.
This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about getting to know yourself more deeply, so you can live in a way that feels more like you.

I came to counselling after many years working in the arts and administration – spaces full of people, stories, and quiet complexities. Like many of us, I’ve navigated change, identity, and all the messy bits that come with being human. Therapy was a huge part of that journey for me – and it’s why I do what I do today.
I trained as a counsellor at the University of East London and Esher College, and I’ve also spent several years volunteering with a mental health charity. That experience really confirmed something I believe to my core: that having space to talk, reflect, and just be can be transformative.

As a BACP-registered counsellor and coach, I work integratively – which means I draw from different approaches to suit you. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in self-compassion. I won’t pretend to have all the answers, but I’ll be right here with you as you explore what feels stuck, what matters most, and what might be ready to shift.

Counselling isn’t a one-way process – I learn and grow through every conversation I have with my clients. If you’re curious about starting, I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s see where the conversation takes us.
