What happens in the initial call?
The initial call is a free 20-minute conversation to help us get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. You can share a little about what's bringing you to therapy, and I’ll explain how I work. There's no pressure to commit — it’s simply a space to explore next steps.

What does your BACP membership mean?
Being a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) means I meet professional standards for ethical and safe practice. I follow the BACP’s ethical framework, which guides how I work — with care, confidentiality, and respect at the heart of each session.
It also means I’ve completed recognised training, undertake regular supervision, and am committed to ongoing professional development to support the work I do with clients.

-
How long are sessions and how much do they cost?
Sessions last 50 minutes and cost £65. I offer both online and in-person sessions near Finsbury Park, North London.

-
How often will we meet?
Most clients choose to meet weekly, as this helps build momentum and a strong therapeutic relationship. However, we can discuss what works best for you and your schedule.
-
How many sessions will I need?
There’s no set number. Some people come for a short period to work through a specific issue; others prefer open-ended therapy. We’ll check in regularly to make sure the work continues to feel helpful.

I’ve never had therapy before — what should I expect?
You don’t need to have anything perfectly figured out before starting. Therapy is a space where you can talk openly, be met with compassion, and take things at your own pace. We’ll work collaboratively to explore what’s going on for you and what might help.

-
What kind of issues do you work with?
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, identity, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I have a particular interest in working with women and LGBTQ+ clients navigating questions around purpose, belonging, and self-worth.

Do you work with children or couples?
I work one-to-one with adults (18+), and I don’t currently offer therapy for children or couples. If you're looking for those services, I’m happy to point you in the direction of trusted professionals.
